Role Description

We are seeking a high-performing Commercial Counsel to join a dynamic, fast-growing team focused on driving enterprise SaaS and strategic partnership deals globally. In this role, you will act as a key legal and commercial advisor, navigating complex agreements while enabling business growth.

  • Lead end-to-end negotiations for complex enterprise SaaS transactions, including MSAs, DPAs, SLAs, and strategic partnership agreements, focusing on large and highly regulated customers.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Deal Operations to streamline deal processes, develop templates, and create playbooks to accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Provide legal guidance to support global commercial strategy while ensuring compliance with international regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training for GTM and Sales teams to empower them to handle first-line legal inquiries and close deals efficiently.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the commercial organization, balancing risk with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
  • 4–7 years of legal experience, including top-tier law firm and in-house SaaS exposure.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps, and enterprise SaaS sales cycles.
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to close complex agreements while mitigating risk.
  • Operational mindset with experience creating processes, templates, and playbooks to accelerate business.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-impact environments.
  • A good sense of humor is highly valued.
