About Libsyn
Libsyn (Liberated Syndication) is an industry-leading, independent podcast hosting and advertising platform that empowers podcasters to share their voices with the world. Founded in 2004, we’re dedicated to simplifying the podcasting process - from publishing to distribution and monetization to measurement - enabling creators to connect with audiences on all major platforms while monetizing their efforts. Through our advertising services and technology, we’re reshaping how advertisers reach their target customers by connecting brands with their desired audience.
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact and strategist for Sales and Business Development needs, ensuring a centralized and consistent flow of requests into Marketing.
- Own the full lifecycle of sales-enablement assets—including pitch decks, creative needs, PR support, and event materials and logistics.
- Build and maintain a scalable enablement framework that delivers proactive support to Sales and BD, not just reactive fulfillment.
- Partner with Sales and BD leadership to understand targets, workflows, deal cycles, and customer needs, translating them into effective marketing programs and assets.
- Ensure enablement materials are up-to-date, on-brand, accurate, and aligned with product and messaging strategy.
- Develop and operationalize cross-functional processes to ensure smooth intake, prioritization, and delivery of work.
- Act as the strategic translator between the field and the marketing team—ensuring clear communication, expectation-setting, and alignment on goals.
- Own and evolve Libsyn’s PR strategy across Libsyn Hosting, Libsyn Ads, and all sub-brands—working closely with external PR partners and internal stakeholders.
- Drive year-round earned-media visibility through thought leadership, executive positioning, announcements, storytelling, and creator- and advertiser-focused narratives.
- Lead Libsyn’s organic social strategy, ensuring an always-on presence that aligns with key company priorities, product news, creator stories, and industry trends.
- Build content calendars, review and refine social copy, and ensure consistency with brand voice and messaging.
- Own Libsyn’s annual event and conference strategy—from planning and budgeting to onsite execution and post-event measurement.
- Partner with Sales, BD, and Marketing leadership to determine event goals and ensure Libsyn’s presence supports both brand visibility and commercial outcomes.
- Ensure every event—whether creator-focused, advertiser-focused, or industry-focused—delivers a cohesive, on-brand experience that reflects Libsyn’s leadership and innovation.
- Oversee booth creative, signage, programming, lead-gen, and execution for multiple events throughout the year.
- Champion alignment between Sales, BD, and Marketing through clear communication, documentation, and cross-functional leadership.
- Ensure that all materials and public-facing work adhere to the Libsyn brand guidelines and quality standards.
- “Connect the dots” across internal teams to ensure integrated planning and avoid duplication of effort.
- Coach and develop one direct report; provide project-based leadership to cross-functional contributors.
-
8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, field marketing, or marketing enablement; experience in media, advertising, podcasting, or creator economy preferred.
-
Proven success building or leading sales/BD enablement functions in a high-growth or dynamic environment.
-
Demonstrated expertise managing PR, social media, and events.
-
Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to influence without authority and work seamlessly across teams.
-
Strong project-management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver high-quality work quickly.
-
Experience building scalable processes, frameworks, and repeatable mechanisms for cross-functional execution.
-
Entrepreneurial mindset, high ownership, bias for action, and natural ability to bring structure to ambiguity.
-
Strong commitment to brand alignment, message consistency, and cross-functional collaboration.
-
Sales and BD experience measurable improvements in efficiency, clarity, and deal support.
-
Marketing assets and activities are consistently aligned to revenue goals and delivered with speed and quality.
-
PR, social, and event initiatives elevate Libsyn’s visibility as a category leader.
-
Stakeholders view this role as the operational and strategic backbone of commercial-facing marketing.
- Competitive compensation (base salary plus bonus).
- Comprehensive health benefits, with employer-paid dental and vision coverage.
- 401(k) plan to help you build towards your future.
- Flexible working arrangements, including remote options.
- Generous paid time off and support for maintaining work-life balance.
