Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email to collect payment terms and resolve issues related to past-due accounts.
- Provide clear and accurate updates on the status of accounts.
- Maintain detailed notes on client’s interactions and payment arrangements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth resolution of overdue accounts.
- De-escalate client concerns on billing matters.
- Data entry of accounts receivable by recording payment transactions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Preferred: Two years of debt collection, phone customer service, or finance experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable making high-volume calls and payment arrangements.
- Ability to handle challenging conversations professionally
- Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience).
- Hours: 20 to 25 hours per week.
- Schedule: Flexible but require collection calls to be made between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
- Location: 100% Remote.
