Job Description

• Lead mid to large size and complex consulting projects simultaneously. • Apply functional knowledge and expertise, working in collaboration with technical consulting team, in the implementation of business-aligned and driven Oracle Cloud solutions. • Align client’s existing business process and procedures with validated HCM Cloud methods to solve client needs. • Lead clients in workshops to formulate functional business requirements and align them to Oracle Cloud functionality and overall solution delivery. • Identify requirement and design gaps and develop solutions to align with overall solution delivery including how inbound and outbound integrations should function within payroll and the overall design and fast formula specifications. • Configure the Oracle Cloud environment to meet client requirements and design, document and configure Payroll. • Advise clients on options, risks and any impacts on other processes and/or systems. • Manage module track of project which includes: • Manage scope and client expectations for your module. • Identify project risks and communicate appropriately with project team to avoid and mitigate potential issues. • Manage the lifecycle of a project including completion of design and requirements, configurations, designing and documenting technical objects such as interfaces, fast formulas and reports. • Understand, identify and communicate cross module impacts that will conflict with your modules design or expectations. • Lead and support clients with the execution of test scripts. • Provide expert guidance on multiple projects in parallel, while guiding other associates. • Participate in internal forums for training, teamwork, issue resolution and innovative design. • Be leaders with a vision in the Oracle Cloud space with innovative solutions around the product. • Train and Mentor junior associates. • Develop and implement long-term client strategies. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients. Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Keep all parties informed about project progress, challenges, and changes. • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements. Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas where technology can drive improvements and efficiencies. • Provide expert advice on technology solutions and tools that can enhance the client's operations. Help clients make informed decisions about adopting and implementing new technologies. • Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers to source necessary hardware, software, or services. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms for the client. • Offer ongoing technical support to address any issues or concerns that arise after implementation. • Continuously monitor the performance of implemented solutions to identify areas for improvement or optimization. Provide recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Oracle certified in your module of expertise.
  • 5-10 years of consulting experience or in related field.
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of Payroll Processing, Garnishments, Tax Filings and general knowledge of Payroll processes and procedures within an organization.
  • A comprehensive understanding of Oracle Cloud implementation methodology and the challenges commonly faced by client and implementation teams.
  • Proven ability to understand client’s data movement to external systems and advise on impacts related to upstream and downstream systems.
  • Ability to effectively manage communication at the client senior levels, see the “big picture” as well as the details.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan work and manage priorities with commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver large projects, including understanding of business-related drivers and parameters.
  • Strong intrapersonal and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning to stay current on trends and Oracle Cloud releases.
  • Strong willingness to train and mentor junior associates.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others.
  • Preferred consulting experience in a similar role in a professional services firm or industry experience at a strategic level is required.
  • Previous experience working in IT companies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the technologies and systems relevant.
  • Willing to travel as necessary.
  • Payroll Expertise (ideally Oracle Cloud or EBS Payroll)
  • Local knowledge of Legislative Payroll Requirements.
  • Knowledge of common business pay practices.
