Job Duties:

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.35531)

 

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

Position requires:

• Object-oriented languages such as Java, Go, C, C++, Python, or PHP;
• RESTful APIs and web services;
• Containerized applications and orchestration;
• Linux and scripting;
• Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals;
• Networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures databases;
• NoSQL systems, storage, or distributed persistence technologies
