Purpose:

Postman Law is seeking an Intake Attorney Manager to oversee and lead the attorneys in our intake department. This role is focused on supervising intake attorneys, ensuring potential cases meet firm criteria, assisting with client escalations, and speaking with prospective clients when attorney involvement is needed to help finalize representation.

The ideal candidate is a licensed attorney with strong leadership and client communication skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced intake environment and helping convert qualified leads into signed clients.

This is a full-time, remote position; candidates near our Lake Mary, Florida, office are preferred.  Compensation for the role will be an annual base salary of $120,000 to $160,000, depending on experience; plus the role is eligible for a year-end discretionary performance bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise intake attorneys within the firm’s intake department
• Review potential cases to verify they meet firm case criteria and guidelines
• Provide support and guidance to intake attorneys during client consultations
• Handle client escalations and complex intake situations when attorney intervention is needed
• Speak directly with potential clients who request or require an attorney consultation prior to signing
• Assist in converting qualified leads into retained clients
• Ensure intake attorneys are following proper procedures, documentation, and qualification standards
• Monitor intake performance and maintain high standards of client service
• Work closely with intake leadership to maintain efficient intake operations

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active bar license in good standing
• 3+ years of legal experience, preferably in plaintiff-side litigation or personal injury
• Experience with client consultations and case evaluations
• Strong communication and persuasion skills with potential clients
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced intake environment

Preferred Experience:

• Personal injury or mass tort intake experience
• Experience supervising attorneys or legal teams
• Background in legal intake or client acquisition environments
