Overview

Vice President, Accreditation & Assessment

 

The Vice President of Accreditation & Assessment provides senior leadership for Evidence in Motion’s (EIM) enterprise-wide accreditation, regulatory compliance, and program assessment strategy. This role provides strategic leadership, enterprise risk oversight, and long-range planning across a complex and expanding portfolio of healthcare education programs. The Vice President is accountable for partner success, scalable service delivery, and operational and financial efficiency, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality accreditation, compliance, and assessment support for University Partner (UP) and Post-Professional (PP) programs.

 

Reporting to the Chief Academic Officer and serving as a member of EIM’s Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President leads within a highly matrixed organization and ensures that Accreditation Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Program Assessment services function as a single, integrated, outcome-driven system aligned with enterprise priorities and the expectations of institutional, programmatic, and regulatory bodies. The Vice President partners closely with EIM leadership and UP executives to ensure these systems support academic quality, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth.

Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to the following)

 

Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as a member of EIM's Senior Leadership Team, contributing to enterprise strategy, organizational planning, and executive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with peer senior leaders to align accreditation and assessment strategy with EIM's mission, value-creation drivers, and long-term growth objectives.
  • Represent accreditation, compliance, and assessment perspectives in senior leadership forums, ensuring quality, scalability, and risk considerations inform enterprise priorities.

 

 Enterprise Accreditation & Regulatory Strategy

  • Establish and lead EIM’s enterprise accreditation and regulatory compliance strategy across all supported degree and post-professional programs.
  • Serve as EIM’s authority on accreditation matters, representing the organization with programmatic accreditors, institutional accrediting bodies, and regulatory agencies as appropriate.
  • Define accreditation readiness frameworks, governance structures, and quality thresholds that ensure consistency and accountability across programs and partners.
  • Provide strategic oversight for institutional accreditation support, multi-state authorization, nursing state approvals, and emerging regulatory requirements.

 

Assessment, Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead the development of an integrated assessment strategy that aligns program outcomes, licensure performance, analytics, and continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes.
  • Ensure assessment practices support evidence-based decision-making, accreditation compliance, and academic quality across UP and PP programs.
  • Partner with Academic Affairs, Learning Design & Technology, and analytics teams to align assessment frameworks with curriculum evaluation, faculty effectiveness, and learner outcomes.

 

Risk Management & Organizational Readiness

  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate enterprise-level accreditation, regulatory, and quality risks that could impact program viability or institutional reputation.
  • Provide strategic guidance on accreditation implications related to new program launches, program expansion, modality changes, and substantive change submissions.
  • Advise EIM executive leadership on emerging accreditation, regulatory, and assessment trends, assessing enterprise impact and recommending proactive strategies.

 

Organizational Leadership & Governance

  • Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing Accreditation & Assessment leadership team spanning accreditation operations, regulatory affairs, and program assessment.
  • Establish clear role definition, decision rights, and operating interfaces between Accreditation & Assessment and adjacent service line teams.
  • Design and maintain governance frameworks that define accountability, escalation pathways, evidence standards, and disciplined execution for accreditation, compliance, and assessment activities.
  • Partner closely with Finance and Enterprise Delivery to ensure budget discipline, resource alignment, and scalable service models that support accreditation readiness and portfolio growth.

 

Thought Leadership & Culture of Quality

  • Serve as a trusted executive partner to UP leadership, providing strategic guidance on accreditation expectations, compliance planning, and long-term quality assurance.
  • Champion a culture of academic integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement across EIM and its partner institutions.
  • Monitor national trends in accreditation, regulation, and assessment, translating insights into organizational strategy and readiness initiatives.
  • Position EIM as a trusted, forward-thinking partner in accreditation and academic quality within the healthcare education ecosystem.

 


Qualifications

Key Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Doctoral degree in a relevant field (PhD, EdD, DPT, OTD, DNP, or related).
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in accreditation, regulatory compliance, assessment, or academic quality assurance.
    • At least 5 years of senior-level leadership experience overseeing complex, multi-program or enterprise-level accreditation functions.
    • Demonstrated expertise with healthcare programmatic accreditors (e.g., CAPTE, ACOTE, ARC-PA, CCNE, CAA, ABPTRFE).
    • Experience supporting or overseeing institutional accreditation and multi-state regulatory compliance.
    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage risk, and drive strategic initiatives in complex partnership environments.
    • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and executive-level relationship-building skills.

 

  • Preferred:
    • Experience in hybrid or accelerated healthcare education models and/or OPM partnership environments.
    • Experience overseeing accreditation or regulatory compliance across multiple disciplines.
    • Familiarity with academic analytics and assessment platforms (e.g., Enflux, Power BI, LMS analytics).
