Job Requirements

  • This role is for a qualified candidate currently living in the Northeastern United States.
  • Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth by achieving and exceeding annual targets.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in K-12 institutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to school administrators and educators in the adoption of our products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Provide exceptional customer support and proactively seek opportunities for engagement.
  • Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and industry trends.
  • Manage a detailed sales pipeline and accurately document all customer interactions.
  • Improve customer retention through dedicated service and support.
  • Represent SmartLab at educational conferences and events to promote brand awareness.
  • Participate in ongoing training and continue to develop sales skills.
  • Travel as needed (up to 50%) to meet clients and prospects.
  • Education and Experience Needed
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Previous experience in sales roles related to K12. education or education technology.
  • Minimum of three years of successful sales experience.
  • At least two years of experience specifically in the K-12 market.
  • Proven track record of territory management and sales achievements.
  • A self-motivated individual who can work independently.
  • Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
  • Experience in public speaking and presenting to varied audiences.
  • Ability to remain positive in challenging situations.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
