Role Description

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Project Surveyor, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world. This is a remote opportunity for the following locations: CO, FL, IN, MI, MO, NE, NC, OH, SC, TN, WI and AZ with opportunities for in-office work at one of our office locations if preferred.

You'll change the shape of your community by charting plans that become tomorrow’s places, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Survey team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.

  • Perform CAD tasks in the preparation of ALTA, boundary, topographic, specialized surveys.
  • Prepare and coordinate construction layout calculations for field staff.
  • Manage CAD generated surface models and produce accurate contours, cross sections and profile drawings.
  • Perform project research and setup.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 15 years practical experience performing similar work.
  • Degree or courses in related area is a plus.
  • Professional licensure in Indiana preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Ability to competently read civil, architectural, and structural drawings, including complex details, and successfully interpret for construction layout.
  • Communicate with clients, accommodate client work requests, and create work order instructions for field staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Work independently with little instruction.
