Job Description
Role Description
- Implement Empyrean Solutions’ suite of software products for asset-liability management, liquidity stress testing, deposit modeling, capital stress testing, and funds transfer pricing at financial institutions.
- Train clients on functional and technical matters related to Empyrean’s products.
- Develop financial models to help clients assess risk exposures and profitability.
- Prepare and present risk measurement reports and analyses to clients.
- Act as a liaison between the product management team and the user community.
- Follow all applicable policies and controls.
- Ensure customer data and sensitive data is transmitted using approved channels.
- Maintain the integrity of the sensitive customer data in line with policies and controls.
Qualifications
- Degree in finance or related discipline.
- Interest or experience in banking, financial risk management or financial technology.
- Solid understanding of the banking industry.
- Solid understanding of fixed income math.
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Strong attention to detail and good planning and organization skills.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Requirements
- Progress towards a CFA, FRM or PRM certification.
- Knowledge of SQL or Python.
