If you join us, you’ll work with state-of-the-art technology in a friendly and professional environment, and we will continue to invest in your professional development. The Opportunity

We are seeking a Consumer Litigation Counsel (General Litigation or Labor Employment Litigation preferred) with single plaintiff litigation experience.  Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) litigation experience is also valued.  This is a remote position, but depending on the location, you may have the ability to come into a local Firm office.

The Day-To-Day

As a consumer litigation Counsel in the Litigation/Labor & Employment practices, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.
You will manage high volume single plaintiff consumer litigation cases, working directly with opposing counsel, drafting motions and pleadings, negotiating settlement, handling court appearance, and preparing the case for trial. You’ll have substantive client contact as well as significant involvement in case strategy and management. This non-partnership track role is full-time yet candidates are not expected to perform non-billable work, which allows for a predictable schedule that encourages healthy integration of work responsibilities and personal activities.

You Have

  • At least 5 years of general litigation experience, preferably single plaintiff work.
  • Fair Credit Reporting Act litigation experience and/or other consumer litigation experience preferred.
  • Top law firm experience, or a combination of law firm and in-house experience.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to drive cases to resolution.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills.

What We Provide

We provide competitive salary and benefits at all levels. For consumer litigation attorneys, we provide comprehensive training, CLE initiatives, Seyfarth University, industry credentialing, and hands-on learning by working side-by-side with our partners. We invest in our attorneys to advance in their careers by providing opportunities for substantive client contact as well as significant involvement in case strategy and management.
