Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is seeking a part-time Instructor – Enhanced Communications Course (ECC) to support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Intelligence (OI), Intelligence Enterprise Training Academy (IETA). This role supports the delivery of performance-based training focused on elicitation and interview techniques, equipping the CBP Intelligence Enterprise workforce with mission-critical communication and tradecraft competencies.
- Deliver classroom-based instruction aligned to ECC curriculum
- Relate instructional content to real-world CBP operations
- Facilitate practical exercises and learning activities
- Mentor and evaluate student performance
- Manage classroom dynamics and learning environment
- Adhere to all CBP and contract security requirements
- Support pre- and post-course instructional activities
- Assist with curriculum refinement and training initiatives as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance
- Extensive experience in federal law enforcement intelligence operations
- Demonstrated expertise in elicitation and interview techniques
- Working knowledge of instructional delivery methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules based on course needs
- Prior delivery of Enhanced Communications / Elicitation training as an instructor
- 10+ years of federal law enforcement experience
- CBP experience (preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with instructional design principles (e.g., ADDIE)
- Advanced subject-matter expertise in intelligence interviewing
- Ability to connect tradecraft concepts to operational scenarios
- Classroom leadership and student engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and within geographically dispersed teams
