Role Description

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist provides full life cycle recruitment efforts for Zurn Elkay. This role will be responsible for driving the sourcing and recruiting requirements/processes throughout the company for full time exempt roles in North America. Roles are across numerous functions including:

  • Sales
  • Marketing
  • Product Management
  • Operations
  • Supply Chain
  • Engineering
  • Finance
  • IT

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with the HR team to ensure compliance and application of tools and processes. The role will also partner with business leaders in developing and executing hiring plans to efficiently fill vacancies with internal and external talent, utilizing best practices in full life-cycle recruitment.

While this is not a technical recruiter, we are looking for someone with a technical mindset.

  • Act as a strong internal recruitment partner to business leaders and human resources to manage requisitions.
  • Implement strategies to achieve quality of hire, time to fill and diversity slate deliverables and metrics.
  • Engage with the business and partner with leaders to increase knowledge and understand business needs.
  • Act as a talent expert to hiring managers and human resources including sharing market analysis, multiple and best practice sourcing strategies, and candidate experience.
  • Create and manage talent pipelines specific to respective functions to acquire the best talent.
  • Market opportunities to external prospects and enhance rapport over the long-term.
  • Identify new creative strategies and build relationships with external organizations to enhance the pipeline of candidates for tough to fill jobs or scarce skills.
  • Must be able to implement and analyze recruitment metrics and design strategies based on outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to compliant recruiting and hiring practices in all transactions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional experience in a talent acquisition, talent management or human resources role, including 3+ years in a direct recruitment role.
  • Must have extensive experience direct recruiting (not using agency).
  • The ability to simultaneously manage multiple requisitions within similar and different stages of the recruiting process to meet service level agreements.
  • Fluency in Workday or similar applicant tracking systems and online sourcing networks is required.
  • Strong coaching skills with a proven track record influencing hiring managers.
  • Proven experience in assessing and selecting exceptional talent for the business.
  • Remote — United States (must reside in an approved state): Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
