Job Description
Role Description
Omnichannel strategy drives activation planning for our clients, providing multichannel marketing expertise to the multidisciplinary teams that serve our clients. Along with client work, this team leads the agency's thought leadership activities and is involved in our business development process.
The Director, Omnichannel Strategy will lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing and communications plans for a specific set of clients and brands. You will be comfortable taking ownership of your accounts, while collaborating with other omnichannel strategists, other strategy team members, and colleagues from other disciplines (e.g., account management, project management, creative, data, technology, and media). This is a leadership position within the agency and comes with heavy client-facing responsibilities. This role offers remote and hybrid flexibility. You will report to the Senior Vice President, Omnichannel Strategy.
- Bring deep omnichannel experience across patient and HCP audiences, strong fluency in media and channel capabilities, a sharp understanding of content strategy, and a data-first mindset.
- Translate actionable insights around important brand challenges, top commercial opportunities, as well as audience beliefs, behaviors, and needs into highly personalized omnichannel experiences.
- Serve as a connector—bridging insights, creative, analytics, media, and client goals into cohesive, high-performing engagement ecosystems that bring campaigns to life.
- Thrive in both strategic planning and hands-on execution, helping drive the strategic vision of scoped projects from conception through execution, ensuring each initiative is consistent with the holistic omnichannel plan.
- Collaborate with the Analytics team to define measurement plans, contribute analysis to performance reports, and develop optimization recommendations.
- Partner with account and brand strategy teams to drive annual strategic and tactic plans that address the right strategic levers and comprise an optimized mix of channels, tactics, content, and messaging.
- Elevate the agency as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to clients by demonstrating a full understanding of their businesses and the ability to craft actionable solutions to their challenges.
- Bring new innovative thinking to clients that propel their businesses forward.
- Support business development from assisting in proposal development and new business pitches.
- Keep current on omnichannel best practices; trends, channels, technologies, and partners —both within and outside of healthcare.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of agency experience with a foundation in healthcare/pharmaceutical marketing.
- 4+ years in a digital, engagement, or omnichannel strategy role.
- Experience marketing to patients/consumers and healthcare professionals.
- Main discipline expertise: omnichannel marketing, digital marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), relationship marketing (RM), customer segmentation, segmented content strategies, marketing & sales automation, digital media, social media, search (SEO/SEM), strategic application of data and marketing analytics.
- Can manage client relationships and navigate multi-stakeholder environments.
- Hands-on experience with agency new business efforts, including proposal writing and pitching.
- Proficient in creating impactful presentations.
Benefits
- Exciting and flexible work environment.
- Great compensation packages.
- Outstanding company paid benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and flexible time off.
Compensation
$150,000 — $160,000 USD
