Role Description
Community Health Systems is hiring a Cerner Senior IA to join our EHR Team. This role will help implement, manage, and modernize the Cerner EHR. As a Cerner Senior IA, you will be responsible for providing implementation service and support for the EHR Platform. Services include but are not limited to:
- Technology deployments of hardware and software
- Advanced troubleshooting
- Revenue cycle workflows
- Clinical workflow
You will be focused on collaboratively guiding stakeholders and project teams with:
- Net new, add-on, and optimization deployments in various clinical settings
- Regular project events, testing calls, status meetings, and conversion support
You will contribute to:
- Implementation best practices
- Troubleshoot device integration issues
- Assess risk and mitigate findings throughout client engagements in partnership with engagement management
Additionally, you will:
- Facilitate technical discovery
- Provide expertise based on the specific environment
- Establish relationships with the goal of achieving high level satisfaction
This role requires managing multiple work assignments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 3 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
- At least 3 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Requirements
- 8 years’ experience working with Cerner Millennium
- 8 years’ experience working with CCL
- 6 years of technical troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
- 6 years assisting with project rollouts
