- Conduct comprehensive infrastructure assessments, analyzing hardware, storage, networking, and identifying technical debt, risks, and opportunities.
- Define and drive hybrid cloud strategy and target-state architectures, creating multi-year modernization roadmaps that balance public and private cloud solutions.
- Lead large-scale transformations, migrating legacy infrastructure to modern, secure, and scalable enterprise systems.
- Architect resilient solutions incorporating microservices, zero-trust security, and automated disaster recovery, aligned with organizational goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, translating technical trade-offs into actionable business value.
- Establish and enforce architectural principles, policies, and governance frameworks, chairing Architecture Review Boards to maintain compliance with standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GovRAMP).
- Lead proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies to accelerate innovation and digital transformation.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise architecture leadership or senior consulting roles.
- Expert knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private cloud technologies, including virtualization, networking protocols, storage solutions (SAN/NAS), and IAM frameworks.
- Proficiency in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman, with experience in Agile and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines.
- Strong consulting and communication skills, capable of bridging technical and executive audiences, managing stakeholders, and negotiating solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Preferred certifications: TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VCDX or NCM-MCI, CCIE.
