Role Description
Spendbase is launching LLMAPI.ai — a standalone open-source AI infrastructure product. LLMAPI.ai provides a unified API for companies building AI features in production. Instead of integrating directly with multiple LLM providers, teams use one stable platform to ensure reliability, cost control, and flexibility at scale. We’re expanding the commercial side of this product and looking for a Sales Manager who will drive pipeline growth, run high-quality discovery conversations, and close deals with technical buyers. This role is for someone who is comfortable selling a technical product to CTOs and engineering teams and enjoys working in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
- Build and maintain outbound and inbound pipeline for LLMAPI.ai
- Own the full sales cycle — from first contact to signed contract
- Close B2B deals and drive revenue for the product
- Identify and approach SaaS / tech companies building AI features
- Conduct discovery calls to understand technical and business needs
- Clearly present LLMAPI.ai value proposition to technical buyers
- Handle objections related to AI infrastructure, cost, and integration
- Collaborate with leadership on refining ICP and messaging
- Provide structured feedback from prospects to product team
- Maintain accurate reporting on pipeline, conversion, and deal progress
Qualifications
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience (SaaS / IT / tech products preferred)
- Experience with outbound prospecting: LinkedIn, email, cold outreach
- Ability to independently run discovery calls and qualify opportunities
- Confidence speaking with technical stakeholders (CTO, engineers, product teams)
- Clear understanding of how B2B sales pipeline works (stages, qualification, follow-ups)
- Strong listening skills — ability to uncover real business pain, not just pitch
- Comfort working in early-stage environments with evolving positioning
- Structured CRM management and disciplined follow-up
- English — Upper-Intermediate or higher
Requirements
- Experience selling API, cloud, infrastructure, or AI-related products (nice to have)
- Participation in full-cycle deals (from first contact to closing) (nice to have)
- Experience working with startups or fast-scaling teams (nice to have)
