Job Description

• Direct procurement and purchasing operations and strategy to meet organizational requirements for quality, availability, volume, and pricing • Evaluate, develop, and manage strategic supplier relationships to optimize cost, performance, and reliability • Lead contract negotiations and oversee contract management and administration • Implement systems and processes to monitor supplier performance, assess risk, and respond to changes in demand or supply chain disruptions • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels • Design and enhance procurement processes, policies, and systems to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and scalability • Utilize ERP systems, data, and analytical tools to evaluate procurement performance and support informed decision-making • Establish auditing and control processes to ensure procurement activities and recordkeeping comply with applicable industry and governmental regulations • Develop functional strategies, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures to support the procurement function • Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to procurement staff, including staffing, performance management, and development

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
  • Progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
  • At least 5 years of people management experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation
  • Advanced degree (MBA or related field) preferred
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPM preferred
  • Experience implementing or optimizing procurement systems and ERP platforms preferred
