Job Description
Role Description
In this role, you will support the launch of a new partner‑focused support offering by driving program structure, operational rigor, and executive‑level communication across a large portfolio of work. You will manage 20+ concurrent workstreams, maintain a master program schedule, coordinate cross‑functional activities, and ensure leadership has clear, concise, and visually compelling updates. This position is ideal for a seasoned program manager who thrives in complex environments, can influence across multiple stakeholders, and can produce executive‑ready materials with minimal direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a large portfolio of programs and workstreams, including master timelines, dependencies, risks, and mitigations.
- Coordinate meetings, drive follow‑ups, and ensure accountability across 20+ active workstreams.
- Develop and deliver executive‑ready presentations, including clear visual storytelling suitable for senior leadership reviews.
- Plan and coordinate activities related to product rollouts, operational readiness, partner success initiatives, or other complex non‑IT programs.
- Present proposals, findings, status reports, and strategic recommendations to leadership and cross‑functional teams.
- Analyze resource needs, market dynamics, and business requirements to assess feasibility and guide program direction.
- Collaborate with management, operations, marketing, and delivery teams to define project specifications and operational procedures.
- Review, recommend, or approve contracts, cost estimates, and change proposals.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to ensure team members maintain strong performance and competence.
- Consult with internal stakeholders and partners to align on program specifications, success criteria, and deliverables.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in program or portfolio management, preferably in a complex technical, support, or service‑oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, multi‑workstream portfolios and deliver structured program governance and reporting.
- Strong experience creating executive‑level slideware and visual storytelling (PowerPoint required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple simultaneous efforts.
- Strong understanding of business operations, resource planning, production processes, and strategic planning principles.
- Proficiency in common productivity and project management tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio).
- Ability to work aligned to Pacific Standard Time (±1 hour).
- Submission of executive‑ready slide samples (and optional project plans) with application.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer support organizations, proactive services, or partner‑facing support environments.
- Experience in complex support ecosystems is considered highly advantageous due to reduced ramp‑up time.
- Experience managing program portfolios for large enterprise environments or global operations.
- Demonstrated executive presence and ability to communicate with senior leaders.
- PMP, PMI, or similar project management certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; advanced degree a plus.
