About the Role
Maleda Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Partnerships Lead to drive product and technology partnerships that enable innovative digital products within a fast-paced technology environment.
In this role, you will operate at the intersection of product development, business development, and strategic partnerships, working closely with Product Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to identify and secure external data, API, and technology partnerships that accelerate product innovation.
This position is ideal for a strategic and execution-focused professional who thrives in high-impact, ambiguous environments and can translate product roadmaps into actionable partnership strategies. You will lead complex negotiations, structure commercial agreements, and develop long-term partner ecosystems that support scalable product growth.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Strategy

Develop and execute partnership strategies that support product innovation and technology enablement.

Identify opportunities where third-party partnerships can accelerate product development, enhance capabilities, or unlock new market opportunities.

Build and manage a proactive pipeline of partnership opportunities aligned with evolving product strategies.
Product Roadmap Alignment

Serve as a key liaison between partnership teams and internal product stakeholders.

Maintain visibility into product roadmaps to anticipate partnership needs and timelines.

Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure partnerships support upcoming initiatives.
Deal Execution

Lead the end-to-end partnership lifecycle including outreach, evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.

Structure commercial agreements including data licensing, API partnerships, and technology integrations.

Negotiate terms that balance cost efficiency, scalability, and long-term strategic flexibility.
Technology Partner Strategy

Evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner opportunities across product and technology initiatives.

Assess vendor landscapes and recommend partnership solutions that best support technical and product objectives.

Ensure partnerships deliver sustainable value and align with long-term product strategies.
Cross-Functional Leadership

Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams to model partnership economics, define success metrics, and align on contract frameworks.

Present partnership opportunities and recommendations to senior internal stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making.
Market and Industry Insight

Maintain deep awareness of emerging technologies, data providers, and service partners relevant to digital product ecosystems.

Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to identify new opportunities or risks.
Program Development

Define KPIs, reporting frameworks, and feedback mechanisms to evaluate partnership performance.

Capture insights from pilots and early-stage partnerships to inform scalable playbooks and commercial frameworks.
Qualifications

10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or a related field.

Demonstrated success leading and closing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships or technology deals.

Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to support product development initiatives.

Familiarity with data licensing agreements, API partnerships, and technology vendor negotiations.

Strong understanding of build vs. buy vs. partner strategic frameworks.

Proven ability to proactively develop partnership strategies rather than relying on inbound opportunities.

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.

Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.

Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams.

Experience in consumer technology, marketplaces, or travel platforms is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
