Role Description

The ideal candidate for the role of Vice President (VP), Employer Sales, has a deep background in employer point solution sales, consultant relationship management, and has worked with and through distribution partnerships with a gifted ability to make the complex understandable. This is not a transactional sales role, but rather an educator who is naturally curious about client needs and how we can design success together. This role must understand the flow of money through the healthcare system and have working knowledge of risk and value-based care.

This is a role for a seasoned sales and business development executive, someone comfortable with both C-level strategic conversations as well as operations-level probing and tactics. Success will come from understanding all the levers in this space, the motivations behind each stakeholder, and how Vori Health is an elegant solution to serve everyone and make the process work better. Ultimately, this is a teacher/educator role. Collaboration will make all this work and the successful candidate will be a consultative builder.

What You’ll Do

Essential Functions:

  • Identify / qualify strategic sales opportunities
  • Leverage and build key relationships with decision makers in a complex, consultative sale
  • Building a pipeline of Vori Health products for the nation’s largest employers directly and through partnerships
  • Build relationships with the consultant and broker community
  • Accountable for achieving sales and performance goals
  • Create complex sales plans collaboratively both with clients and internal resources
  • Act as a SME with internal partners for strategy, product, clinical and billing development
  • Manage the proposal process, including RFP responses, modeling and negotiation
  • Actively participate and lead internal strategy meetings
  • Lead outward vision in trade shows, panels, etc.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

  • 7+ years of proven experience

  • Understand the interaction of payers, employers, providers, facilities and patient experience in healthcare

  • Willing to travel

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $150,000–$190,000 USD, with total on-target earnings (OTE) of approximately $300,000 USD, inclusive of performance-based incentive compensation. This role features uncapped earning potential tied to achievement of strategic and revenue goals.
