Role Description
Peraton is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer/Administrator to engage in a broad range of platform administration, configuration, and development activities as a member of a multi-discipline team. The candidate will join a high performing team to deliver value in a large, complex fast-paced environment supporting Peraton’s corporate services. The team is responsible for all facets of support, administration, configuration, and development to meet complex customer needs to deliver value to Peraton’s business functions.
- Responsibilities and experience with ITSM, ITOM, Workflow Studio, and CMDB along with Employee Service Center are desired.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- B.S Computer Science or comparable, can substitute 6 years of work experience in lieu of degree.
- Two (2) years of experience with the ServiceNow platform as an administrator/developer.
- Active/Current ServiceNow CSA or above.
- ITSM and ITOM experience, including experience supporting CMDB and Discovery, Asset Mgmt., MID servers, and Employee Service Center.
- Experience in ServiceNow development (GLIDE, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, Script Includes, UI Scripts, APIs).
- Experience in web development (HTML, CSS, Angular JS, SQL, JavaScript).
- Attention to detail and the ability to listen to stakeholder business requirements and translate to a working, maintainable, technical solution.
- Produce tangible deliverables (requirements specifications, design deliverables, project objectives, within predetermined timelines).
- Ability to analyze, detect/identify and troubleshoot bugs, fix defects, and support users of application.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, error log analysis, and researching solutions.

- Experience with HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, XML
- Virtual Agent/Bot conversations
- Supporting Yokohama or higher

- Ability to determine upgrade and enhancement parameters and execute test plans to ensure enhancements are tested and debugged.
- Document and develop procedures.
- Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Service Management
- ITIL 4 or higher certification

Target Salary Range
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
