Role Description
Orbital Engineering Inc is seeking a Full-Time Human Resources Generalist to learn and grow with a dynamic, growth-oriented organization with 650+ employees in more than 40 states. This position will work with the HR Team to provide outstanding customer service to support candidates, employees, and managers.
- Provides HR Generalist services primarily to a dedicated segment of the company.

Ownership of key HR processes such as:
- Employment Offers
- Onboarding
- Employee Relations
- Policy and Procedure
- Leaves of Absence
- Terminations
- Collaborate with Recruiting Team regarding hiring and position updates.
- Coordinate regular meetings with managers to address recruitment, hiring, and various employee issues.
- Conduct Employee Exit Interviews and participate in other employee relations activities.
- May assist with benefits-related issues.

With demonstrated skills and desire in HRIS and benefits, may be trained to provide assistance and back-up for the HR Manager for:
- HRIS oversight/problem solving
- Benefits/performance management programming
- Benefits invoice processing
- Reporting and more
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
- 3-5 years of position related experience (with emphasis on hiring, onboarding, and HRIS); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent HRIS experience (UKG preferred, but not required).
- Experience with internal investigations, corrective actions, and discharge strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently support employees and managers in multiple states/locations in a largely virtual environment.
- Great customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Commitment to process improvement and developing efficiencies.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
- Demonstrated familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
- Flexibility to assist wherever needed to support co-workers and the organization.
