Role Description

In this fully remote role, you will lead the development and execution of strategic B2B content initiatives designed to engage professional audiences and support business growth. You will work at the intersection of marketing strategy, digital experience, and data-driven insights to create impactful content frameworks across digital channels. The role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into compelling content strategies aligned with the customer journey. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure messaging consistency, optimize digital performance, and drive measurable marketing outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to influence large-scale marketing initiatives within a complex industry environment while leveraging analytics, SEO, and modern marketing platforms.

  • Lead the design and execution of comprehensive B2B content strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives
  • Develop strategic content plans that support customer journey stages, from awareness to conversion and retention
  • Conduct content audits and gap analyses to improve messaging consistency and optimize content performance across channels
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and digital teams to ensure alignment between content initiatives and campaign goals
  • Apply SEO best practices to digital and web content strategies to improve discoverability and engagement
  • Utilize analytics and performance insights to refine strategies, measure content effectiveness, and guide continuous improvement
  • Support the development and execution of targeted email marketing initiatives using platforms such as Marketo
  • Map customer journeys and develop content frameworks that deliver relevant messaging at key touchpoints

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing, content strategy, or related fields within a B2B environment
  • At least 1 year of experience in a senior or lead-level role, guiding strategic initiatives (direct people management not required)
  • Strong background in B2B marketing strategy and content development
  • Experience working within healthcare or health insurance environments, including payer or provider organizations
  • Demonstrated expertise in content strategy development, planning, and governance
  • Experience working in digital and web environments, including strong knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Proficiency in content auditing, journey mapping, and content lifecycle management
  • Ability to leverage analytics and performance insights to inform content strategy and marketing decisions
  • Experience using marketing automation or email campaign platforms such as Marketo
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
