Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Sales Consultant. You will play a crucial role in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the legal industry. You will report directly to the Sales Operations Manager and work closely with our team to drive revenue growth.

  • Conduct inbound and outbound discovery calls with prospective law firm clients, showcasing excellent communication skills and professionalism while building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Utilize active listening and consultative selling techniques to understand client needs, pain points, and goals.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and accurately input all relevant information into our CRM system, Hubspot, to maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database.
  • Professionally and effectively communicate brand and value to the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Operations Manager and additional Sales Consultants to develop customized digital marketing proposals tailored to the unique requirements of each prospective client.
  • Present proposals to prospective clients in a professional and persuasive manner, highlighting the value and benefits of our digital marketing services for law firms.
  • Address client inquiries, provide expert advice, and handle objections throughout the life of the sales process.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with leads to ensure a consistent and positive customer experience.
  • Participate in outbound initiatives to gain more quality leads based on discussions with the Sales and Marketing Teams.
  • Support marketing and sales efforts such as attending conferences/events throughout the year, typically between 4-6 per sales lead, per year.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and the evolving needs of law firms to effectively position our services and provide relevant insights to clients.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Teams to evolve strategies based on effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales, at least 2 years, preferably in a B2B environment (such as real estate, pharmaceutical, legal marketing, and/or SEO), with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, to manage leads and sales activities effectively.
  • Knowledge or experience in digital marketing and/or the legal industry is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and establish trust with prospective clients.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Active listening skills, the ability to listen more effectively by allowing this prospective client to articulate their needs, and improve mutual understanding.
  • Genuine and authentic personality with a welcoming and inviting demeanor, making others feel at ease and comfortable during interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, displaying curiosity and asking insightful questions to uncover client needs.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and to participate as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment that sees consistent changes.
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
