Role Description

Morning Brew is seeking a Designer to join our growing Design team! This role reports to our Associate Design Director and will work closely with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to bring Morning Brew Inc. brands to life through personality-rich visual experiences. This position is designed to take ownership of recurring design production—ebooks, explainers, events, social, sales enablement materials, decks, and more. You should have a flexible style with the ability to adapt to our brand look and feel across our portfolio, and always look for the best approach to a creative brief. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deliverables with ease, and bring creativity and craft to high-volume design work.

Morning Brew is based in New York City but this role is remote-friendly for all candidates.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to recurring, medium-to-high complexity projects that bring Morning Brew’s brands to life, including projects like franchise brand refreshes, design style guide development, and brand marketing assets.
  • Produce and package recurring editorial and content marketing deliverables such as ebooks, deep dives, and explainers.
  • Create high-volume social graphics across multiple franchises, ensuring platform-appropriate consistency and visual impact.
  • Support campaign and event design by building out creative toolkits, adapting assets, and producing event collateral for summits, tentpoles, and consumer/pro events.
  • Handle corporate communications including awards, hiring announcements, product updates, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Build and maintain templates, decks, and digital modules, such as presale decks, and editorial templates.
  • Pioneer the use of new tools and techniques and share learnings with the team.
  • Give useful feedback to other designers and stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional design experience.
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Google Suite.
  • Solid skills in typography, color theory, and layout, with proven ability to execute across both digital and print.
  • Experience handling recurring design deliverables and multi-brand workflows is a strong plus.
  • In-house or agency experience with event design and branding preferred.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to receive, interpret, and incorporate feedback constructively.
  • Track record of consistently meeting deadlines and delivering work that meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations.

Compensation

$70,000 - $80,000

  • Accountability -- We celebrate our successes and own our failures. Taking responsibility for our actions allows us to learn from our experiences.
  • Bias Toward Action -- We know speed matters in business so we embrace quick and calculated risk-taking. We understand that many actions are reversible and therefore we are solutions-oriented, even when facing obstacles and challenges.
  • Challenger Mentality -- We don’t allow ourselves to be comfortable with our success. We are hungry to become the best and create more value for our audience.
