Role Description

The Installation Manager (Dressing) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all dressing-related installations across assigned venues. This includes branding elements, overlays, graphics, soft branding, and final visual presentation to ensure venues are delivered on time, on brand, and to specification. This role acts as the key on-site lead between dressing manager, logistics, Onsite Crew, and venue stakeholders.

Fixed-Term Role: May 2026-July 2026

What You'll Do:

  • Planning & Coordination
    • Review drawings, scope books, and installation manuals related to dressing and branding elements
    • Understand and align with the installation schedules with overall project timelines
    • Coordinate with logistics teams for delivery, storage, and material flow on-site
    • Plan crew requirements (skilled, unskilled, specialists) per installation phase
  • On-Site Management
    • Lead and supervise dressing installation crews across venues
    • Manage daily installation activities including branding, wayfinding, dressing, and final finishes
    • Ensure installations follow approved layouts, brand guidelines, and safety standards
    • Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and task assignments
  • Quality Control & Compliance
    • Perform quality checks to ensure all elements are installed correctly, securely, and cleanly
    • Identify issues, clashes, or deviations and propose corrective actions
    • Ensure compliance with venue rules, H&S regulations, and access protocols
    • Maintain snag lists and oversee close-out actions
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management
    • Act as the main point of contact for dressing-related matters on-site
    • Coordinate with Dressing manager, Operations team and Onsite crews to ensure a timely delivery
    • Support inspections, walk-throughs, and client approvals
  • Maintenance & De-rig
    • Oversee maintenance and touch-ups during live event periods
    • Manage removal, packing, and de-rig of all dressing elements post-event
    • Ensure assets are returned, stored, or disposed of per project requirements

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in venue dressing, branding, overlays, graphics installation, or large-scale event delivery environments
  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary installation crews across complex venues (stadiums, arenas, major public events)
  • Strong ability to interpret drawings, scope books, installation manuals, and brand guidelines
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects on tight timelines within high-pressure live event environments
  • Solid understanding of large-format graphics, soft branding, structural branding elements, and finishing details
  • Strong leadership capability — confident leading daily briefings, coordinating multiple teams, and driving accountability on-site
  • Experience managing logistics coordination including delivery sequencing, storage, and material flow
  • Strong quality control mindset with experience managing snag lists and overseeing close-out actions
  • Thorough knowledge of health & safety standards, venue compliance requirements, and access protocols
  • Flexible and solutions-oriented, with availability to work extended hours, weekends, travel between venues, and oversee maintenance and de-rig phases
