Role Description

We are seeking a Contract Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney to support our Phoenix-based litigation practice. This flexible hybrid/remote role is ideal for an experienced litigator who can independently manage substantive assignments in complex civil matters while contributing to case strategy.

  • Conducting legal research
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other litigation documents
  • Analyzing case law to support litigation strategy
  • Assisting with discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery
  • Reviewing documents and evidence
  • Preparing for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Contributing to case strategy discussions
  • Identifying legal issues and risks within assigned matters
  • Managing deadlines and assignments independently
  • Communicating professionally with attorneys, staff, and clients

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial litigation experience (more experienced candidates encouraged to apply)
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage assignments independently and meet deadlines
  • Professional judgment and attention to detail
  • Experience with Arizona courts, procedures, and rules
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a legal team
  • Experience preparing for depositions, hearings, or trial is a plus
  • Familiarity with litigation technology and case management systems preferred
