Role Description
We are seeking a candidate with Texas Civil Litigation experience to join the team!
- Performs legal and secretarial tasks for assigned attorney(s), with supervision and oversight from their leader.
- Maintains schedules and calendar for assigned attorney(s).
- Composes a variety of correspondence, pleadings and various legal forms.
- Coordinates time and location of multi-party appearances, including depositions, arbitrations, mediations, Independent Medical Exams (IME’s), meetings, and site inspections.
- Answers telephone calls, emails, and handles client inquiries.
- Receives and processes incoming mail.
- Contacts clients, witnesses, court reporters, interpreters, claims personnel, and others to confirm scheduled appearances as instructed by assigned attorney(s).
- Maintains a thorough knowledge and keeps up-to-date with court rules and legal deadlines.
Physical Actions
- This role includes normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
- Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
- Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance.
- Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
- Visually verifies and reads information.
- Visually locates material, resources, and other objects.
- Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
- Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years experience in civil litigation as a legal administration clerk, secretary, or legal assistant required.

The intern will support global privacy rights intake, triage, and fulfillment, while maintaining and updating privacy records and internal documentation repositories.
