Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing support, communications, or administrative roles
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools
  • Familiarity with Canva
  • Comfortable making website edits (WordPress or similar CMS preferred)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable receiving direction and implementing feedback quickly

  • Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
  • Hours: Approx. 10–15 hours per week (including ~5 hours dedicated to social media)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing department with administrative tasks and special projects, including but not limited to:
    • Website Updates
      • Make routine updates to existing website content (text edits, image swaps, page updates)
      • Ensure formatting consistency and quality control
      • Coordinate revisions as directed by the marketing team
    • Social Media Support (Approx. 5 Hours/Week)
      • Draft social media captions aligned with brand voice
      • Schedule posts across platforms
      • Monitor and respond to engagement (comments, DMs) as directed
    • Organization & Asset Management
      • Upload and organize photos
      • Upload, organize, and tag assets in Tagbox
      • Restructure and clean up Canva folders
      • Finalize and organize document folders
      • Maintain brand asset consistency
    • Email & Reputation Management
      • Update email template content as needed
      • Respond to Google Business reviews (using approved messaging guidelines)
    • General Marketing Support
      • Assist with special projects as assigned
      • Perform additional administrative marketing tasks as needed
