Role Description
Adelphoi Village is looking for a qualified professional interested in working with family and youth as a full-time Permanency Specialist. You will engage and build relationships with youth in foster homes and residential settings to understand their situation and help them with their reunification and permanency goals. A flexible schedule that includes you scheduling your work when both youth and families are available, allowing for work at home opportunity and overall flexibility to accomplish your assigned work.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in the Child welfare field with youth and families
- Four-year undergraduate degree in psychology, sociology, counseling, or other similarly related behavioral disciplines
Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate strong 1:1 communication skills
- Documentation to support the completed work
- Capability to organize and adhere to work schedule
- Be seen as a reliable resource for the youth and family
- Knowledge of the foster care system and trauma would be beneficial
