Ontra is seeking a Senior UX Designer reporting to our Director, UX. We’re looking for someone excited to champion user insights and drive value by:
- Exploring user behavior and feedback.
- Masterfully demoing and understanding product facets within the Ontra ecosystem.
- Strategically prioritizing innovative features while staying ahead of industry trends.
- Leading a team in delivering seamless, well-designed user experiences.

Qualifications
- 5+ years in user experience design.
- Ability to understand and focus on the rationale and outcomes behind design work.
- Experience in conducting user research, leading calls, and utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to guide UX decisions.
- Proficiency in creating prototypes, with experience in tools such as Figma, Axure, or similar platforms being an advantage.
- Ability to design with a component library and usability best practices in mind.
- Emphasis on creating simple, intuitive, and easy-to-use experiences rather than focusing on flashy, creative UI.
- Experience working in an agile environment, with flexibility and ability to collaborate across various teams.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance research, ideation, prototyping, and workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Lead efforts to analyze user behavior and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for enhancing customer value.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the product, its features, and value propositions, while understanding its relationship with the broader Ontra ecosystem.
- Advocate for and contribute to setting and achieving OKRs, prioritize new features and improvements, and maintain awareness of competitor and industry trends to inform product decisions.
- Empower and guide team members to deliver exceptional user experiences, ensuring alignment on customer problems to solve and celebrating team achievements.
- Utilize the design system effectively to streamline UI, leverage AI for optimizing task efficiency, and engage in rapid prototyping for quick iteration and validation.
- Build strong relationships with teams across Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales to ensure cohesive and consistent user experiences.
