Role Description
Reporting to the CRO and partnering with Legal, Compliance, Implementation, Product & Engineering, the VP, Partnerships will own the development and execution of a comprehensive partnership strategy for Spring Health. This includes:
- Strategy development
- Partner sourcing
- Procuring of net new partnerships
- Overseeing successful implementations
- Partnership management
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and partnership ecosystem leadership. This is a full-time position that is fully remote. Travel is required ~2x a month, including partner meetings, industry events, and internal collaboration as needed.
What you’ll do:
- Develop a comprehensive partnership ecosystem strategy for Spring Health inclusive of Channel Partnerships, Integration Partnerships, Marketplace Partnerships, Resellers, and Distribution Partners.
- Own the partnership P&L, including a quota-carrying responsibility for driving profitable, partner-sourced revenue growth.

Lead Spring Health’s channel partnerships team to:
- Identify, prioritize, and engage potential partners
- Lead negotiations to finalize partnership agreements
- Build and maintain relationships within partner organizations
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and new opportunities for partnerships
- Navigate significant cross-functional dependencies with Legal, Compliance, Product, and Engineering
- Build operating rigor where process and infrastructure are still evolving
- Represent Spring Health at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the company’s partnership initiatives
What success looks like:
- Meet and exceed annual partner-sourced revenue targets against quota
- Reduce time-to-first-revenue for new partners through clear activation paths
- Increase partner activation and sustained contribution rates
- Deliver partner revenue that is accretive to gross margin over time
Qualifications
- Must have 15+ years of successful business development and/or channel partnership experience
- 7+ years of people leadership experience in business development and/or channel partnerships
- Experience in the Employee Benefits ecosystem, with direct exposure to carriers, consultants, benefit technology providers, or digital health partners strongly preferred
- A deep passion to transform the U.S. employee benefits system, especially mental health
- Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
- Entrepreneurial focus with a determination to succeed in an innovative, fast-paced environment
- Strong background and track record of success as an individual contributor
- Humility, resourcefulness, directness, ambition, extreme comfortability with change
Requirements
- The target base salary range is $225,000-275,000
- Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations
