Job Description
Role Description
Casechek is on a mission to innovate the implant supply chain and bring greater transparency to the cost of patient care. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to hospital supply chain, perioperative services, finance, and value analysis leadership within enterprise health systems. As an Enterprise Account Manager – Hospital Supply Chain SME, you will leverage deep knowledge of implant workflows, bill-only processes, vendor-managed inventory, and acute care supply chain operations to drive measurable operational and financial outcomes.
You will be the primary point of contact for enterprise clients, but this is not a traditional SaaS relationship role. You must bring industry credibility and subject matter expertise that enables you to engage Directors of Supply Chain, OR leadership, Revenue Cycle stakeholders, and executive leadership in meaningful operational and financial discussions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will require:
- Strategic thinking
- Operational fluency
- Data analysis
- The ability to translate platform insights into performance improvement initiatives
You should be comfortable navigating hospital systems, ERP integrations, and complex stakeholder environments while collaborating cross-functionally within Casechek to deliver measurable value. Casechek is a highly collaborative environment, but our team is also self-motivated and works independently.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with enterprise-level hospital and health system clients.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in hospital implant supply chain matters such as sourcing, contracting, procurement, operations, and vendor management.
- Act as the primary liaison between Casechek and client supply chain, perioperative, finance, and revenue cycle teams.
- Lead operational and executive business reviews focused on measurable outcomes, including cost containment, contract compliance, product sourcing, charge capture optimization, and process standardization.
- Analyze client data to identify operational inefficiencies, financial leakage, and revenue opportunities related to implantable devices.
- Advise clients on best practices in implant governance, value analysis, vendor accountability, and materials management process improvement.
- Collaborate with client EHR and ERP teams (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Lawson- Infor, Workday, Oracle, etc.) to ensure integration alignment and data integrity.
- Monitor and analyze account health to proactively identify risks and opportunities for expansion.
- Document and manage client activity and insights using internal systems (e.g., Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office).
- Identify trends across enterprise accounts and provide actionable feedback to Product and Leadership teams.
- Proactively address technical, operational, or stakeholder issues that arise.
- Lead special projects as requested.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in hospital supply chain, healthcare operations, implantable device management, or healthcare technology serving acute care health systems.
- Direct experience working in hospital/IDN Supply Chain teams, Perioperative Services, and/or OR Business management.
- Strong understanding of bill-only workflows, vendor-supported surgical procedures, and implantable device sourcing, contracting, and procurement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility with Directors of Supply Chain, OR leadership, and executive stakeholders within hospital systems.
- Working knowledge of healthcare reimbursement dynamics and charge capture processes related to implantable devices.
- Experience managing enterprise-level accounts in complex stakeholder environments.
- Ability to translate operational data into strategic recommendations and measurable outcomes.
- Strong executive communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive long-term client value.
- Tech-savvy: Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and related business systems.
- Experience working within hospital enterprise systems, including EHR/EMR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and supply chain or ERP systems (e.g., Lawson, Workday, Oracle).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
