Role Description
We are seeking a Business Data Analyst II to join our Defense Logistics Agency team.
- Collect and organize technical and operational information required to prepare documentation, reports, and customer deliverables.
- Assist in the development of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, and system documentation.
- Edit and review functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, and special reports to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Prepare and maintain systems, programming, and operations documentation, including procedures and technical methods.
- Maintain and update an internal documentation library to ensure materials remain current and accessible.
- Support the preparation of proposals, technical reports, and other contract deliverables as required.
- Provide documentation support for system implementations, upgrades, and operational changes.
- Assist with financial and administrative tasks associated with project or program support activities.
- Coordinate specialized documentation services and ensure deliverables meet organizational and customer standards.
- Ensure documentation complies with established formatting, quality assurance, and contract requirements.
- Collaborate with technical staff, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and validate documentation content.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools to create, edit, track, and manage documentation deliverables and reports.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience supporting documentation, administrative, or technical writing functions.
- Experience preparing technical documentation such as user manuals, system guides, and operational procedures.
- Experience organizing, maintaining, and updating documentation repositories or libraries.
- Experience supporting project documentation, reports, and deliverables within technical or IT environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and related tools.
- Familiarity with project documentation processes and project management support activities.
- Strong editing, formatting, and document organization skills.
- Secret IT-III Non-Critical security clearance, Tier 1 investigation.
