Job Description
Role Description
We are seeking a Technical Software Developer (Summer Intern) to support the development, deployment, and integration of solutions built on top of Workvivo by Zoom , a leading employee experience platform that helps organizations communicate, engage employees, and strengthen company culture. The intern will work closely with our technical team to develop integrations, automation workflows, and custom applications that extend the capabilities of Workvivo for enterprise clients. This role provides hands-on experience working with APIs, cloud platforms, authentication systems, and enterprise integrations in real-world environments.
- Assist in developing custom integrations and applications that interact with the Workvivo platform using REST APIs
- Support the development of automation workflows, and platform extensions for enterprise clients
- Deliver development support for an internal Software as a Service (SaaS) platform
- Assist in implementing user provisioning and identity integrations such as SCIM and SSO (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace)
- Deploy software updates and maintain services across development, staging, and production environments
- Help refactor and improve existing internal tools and codebases
- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
- Support automation and infrastructure tasks across AWS and Azure cloud environments
- Write scripts and utilities to support data migrations, bulk actions, and integration workflows
- Assist in building tools that interact with external services such as Microsoft 365, HR systems, and other enterprise platforms
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, APIs, and internal tools
- Support debugging and troubleshooting for client integrations and internal systems
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Python or Javascript
- Familiarity with REST APIs and API integration
- Understanding of authentication systems (OAuth, SAML, or similar concepts)
- Experience working with Git version control
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Experience working with JSON, webhooks, and API-based systems
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Python or JavaScript
- Experience writing clear, maintainable, well-documented code
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices
- Experience with automated testing or unit testing
