Role Description

AutoRABIT is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Security Architect with a strong background supporting U.S. Federal Government environments. In this role, you will design, implement, and guide secure Salesforce architectures that meet stringent federal security and compliance requirements.

• Partner closely with engineering, product, and DevSecOps teams to architect secure integrations, authentication frameworks, and governance models across the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on Salesforce security, ensuring platform and customer implementations align with federal compliance standards and industry best practices.
• Bring deep knowledge of Salesforce platform security, identity architecture, and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST security standards.
• Translate complex security requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide implementation architecture and security guidance for Public Sector and Federal clients, ensuring Salesforce deployments meet government security, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Architect secure Salesforce platform solutions for enterprise and federal environments.
• Design and implement Salesforce security architecture including profiles, permission sets, sharing models, field level security, and data protection controls.
• Lead identity and access management strategy including OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, OpenID Connect, and Single Sign On architectures.
• Ensure Salesforce implementations meet federal compliance requirements such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and other government security frameworks.
• Design and enforce secure integration patterns across Salesforce APIs and external systems.
• Define governance standards for authentication, token lifecycle management, encryption, and session security.
• Partner with DevSecOps and engineering teams to integrate Salesforce security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct architecture reviews and security assessments for Salesforce implementations.
• Provide guidance on secure configuration of Connected Apps, integrations, and external identity providers.
• Develop documentation for secure architecture standards and operational security practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure product design and compliance initiatives.
• Responsible to adhere to set internal controls.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen/permanent resident of the US, and capable of obtaining a Government Security clearance if required.
• Live and work from the US. Green card holders qualify, but H1B or other work visa holders do not qualify for this role.

Salary

Salary range for the role is $160,000 to $180,000 per year, plus bonus, depending on experience.
