Role Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Healthcare Informatics Consultant - REMOTE. In this role, you will drive advancements in healthcare data management, impacting client success across various institutions. You will leverage your expertise in SQL and informatics to lead client engagements, ensuring high-quality EHR data extracts. Your contributions will enhance healthcare practices, ensuring effective, data-driven decision-making. By collaborating cross-functionally, you will help organizations thrive in their utilization of healthcare data, setting new standards for quality and performance in the industry.

  • Serve as the primary consultant for multiple clients, providing expert-level guidance on EHR data structures and best practices.
  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions and translate complex clinical workflows into actionable technical specifications.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership.
  • Design and optimize sophisticated EHR data extracts focusing on Epic and Cerner systems.
  • Develop SQL queries and manage large-scale data sets with integrity and accuracy.
  • Conduct validation efforts to ensure consistency in extracted health data.
  • Collaborate with technical and clinical stakeholders for effective outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in informatics within a healthcare institution.
  • Deep understanding of clinical workflows, particularly in radiology.
  • Expertise in Epic tools; Cerner experience is a plus.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) is advantageous.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
