Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

An Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to develop and grow customer relationships and business derived from the assigned customer base. The main focus is on Orders and Sales growth through our circle of compliance strategy implementation while delivering the best customer experience possible.

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure effective sales growth in the branch consistent with the established strategic objectives, policies, and procedures.

· Engage in various sales activities to sell service to meet minimum established sales quotas.

· Prepare price estimates and offers for key accounts ensuring accurate pricing and information.

· Prepare and maintain offers in Seibel CRM. Maintain CRM compliance.

· Accurately move sales cases through the sales funnel using the proper sale case stage.

· Maintain weekly contact with assigned accounts and develop relationships. Document activity.

· Schedule and conduct business review presentations to all accounts on an annual basis as a minimum and more often as necessary.

· Assist in collection efforts of problem accounts, as needed.

· As an Account Manager, you will co-operate with operations to quickly resolve operational problems and difficulties, either internal, external, intra-company, etc.

· Responsible to participate in weekly sales meetings and ensure that sales activity and quotation levels are sufficient to meet objectives.

· Participate in required meetings and processes such as budget, forecasts, strategy, etc.

· Review and negotiate all non-standard Terms & Conditions.

· Ensure compliance with local, provincial, federal laws and regulations.

· Participate and assist in preparing required monthly reports including Rush report.

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

· Must be a self-starter.

· Must have good written and verbal communication skills and good PC skills.

 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor's degree preferred, prior equivalent experience and training will be considered in lieu of formal degree.

· Two (2) years of demonstrated leadership skills and well-developed interpersonal skills.

· Two (2) years of basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.

· Prior experience with cranes is a plus.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

· Must have and maintain a good driving record.

· Must be willing and able to travel to different locations.

· Ability to relocate to other regions of the country may be required for advancement opportunities.
