Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Risk Management and Compliance Specialist with extensive prior experience working in hospital systems in Texas. The successful candidate will be well-versed in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within healthcare settings while promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess potential risks in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and clinics.
- Develop and implement strategic risk mitigation plans to enhance patient safety and minimize liability.
- Manage legal and regulatory compliance, insurance policies, and claims processing efficiently.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure safety and operational efficiency across the organization.
Qualifications
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) required.
- JD preferred, but not required.
- At least 10 years of direct experience working in Texas and/or familiarity with Texas healthcare regulations.
- Extensive experience in risk management within a hospital system.
- Proven track record in clinical/patient safety, risk financing, legal and regulatory compliance, healthcare operations, and claims/litigation management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.
- Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
