Description

The Commissioning Manager - Electrical Infrastructure at Hyper Solutions owns post-delivery execution and customer success for Hyper Solutions’ equipment and service engagements. This role serves as the primary Hyper execution leader once equipment reaches final site delivery, ensuring structured coordination across Service, Quality, Engineering, and Customers.


This role assumes execution ownership after final equipment delivery, ensuring successful installation, pre-energization, startup, and commissioning while maintaining alignment between customers, field service teams, engineering, and quality. The Commissioning Manager enables Sales Project Managers to remain focused on revenue execution and order delivery while ensuring site execution, service coordination, and issue resolution are managed effectively.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Assume formal project ownership at final site delivery.
  • Serve as Hyper’s primary execution leader for site activities.
  • Coordinate installation, pre-energization, startup, and commissioning phases.
  • Conduct site visits as required to support execution and alignment.
  • Drive structured coordination across Service, Quality, and Engineering.
  • Monitor corrective actions and resolution timelines.
  • Ensure containment, root cause alignment, and closure discipline.
  • Own CX Alloy (or equivalent system) case creation and management.
  • Track issues, actions, dependencies, and resolution progress.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for customer-facing updates.
  • Ensure continuity and accuracy of issue documentation.
  • Maintain alignment with the Sales Project Manager following customer turnover.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate field service resources.
  • Align service activities with construction schedules and site readiness.
  • Ensure timely dispatch and resolution support.
  • Partner with Engineering and Quality teams for technical resolution.
  • Own field issue resolution from identification through closure.
  • Provide proactive project and issue status updates.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for post-delivery execution.
  • Lead execution, coordination, and escalation discussions.
  • Maintain consistent communication cadence and expectations with customers.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Identify execution risks and schedule impacts.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to resolve constraints.
  • Manage escalations with structured accountability.
  • Protect customer timelines and Hyper commitments.
  • Support coordination between Service, Quality, Engineering, and customer teams.
  • Assist in improving service execution processes and field coordination practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management, commissioning execution, service delivery, or technical operations.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or site engagements.
  • Excellent customer communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Structured problem-solving and issue resolution skills.
  • Experience working with tracking or workflow systems such as ERP, CMMS, or CX tools.
  • Experience supporting installation, commissioning, or service operations within electrical infrastructure, critical power, or data center environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in critical power, electrical distribution, or data center infrastructure environments.
  • Experience coordinating field service or commissioning activities.
  • Experience managing warranty or issue lifecycle management processes.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale or mission-critical customer environments.

Travel

Estimated travel up to 25%.

Must be able to travel as needed to attend kick-off meetings, walk-throughs, and commissioning calls at least once per month.


Compensation

The anticipated minimum hiring range for this role is $100,000 -$110,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, and location. This hire will be eligible for a discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
