Role Description
As a Category and Space Management Analyst, you will be responsible for using WK Kellogg data to do top line analysis and opportunity gap assessments and comparisons versus competitors, for identification of WK Kellogg Sales opportunities at each assigned customer and within the marketplace. Develop Plan-O-Grams for assigned customers that meet WK Kellogg Company standards across the cereal category.
This is a remote position. You will travel up to 10% of the time.

- Reports to: Sr. Manager - Category Management

- Peers/Contacts include: Managers and Associate Managers – Category Management
Here's What You'll Be Doing
- Assuring accurate and timely development, release, and execution of assigned plan-o-grams and category responsibilities.
- Analyzing store data to effectively place items in the plan-o-gram.
- Providing technical and analytical support to the Shelf Merchandising Analyst and Category Management team.
- Providing expert knowledge of category trends.
- Monitor competition to provide specific direction in understanding best of class merchandising models.
- Recommend appropriate measures and methods to achieve company initiatives and merchandising objectives while maintaining plan-o-gram metric standards.
- Assist in Shelf Merchandising projects.
Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree with a minimum of one year retail experience.
- Knowledge of shelf merchandising tools.
- Understanding of category management with strong quantitative, analytical and computer skills. Ability to adapt skills to a wide variety of changing analytical situations.
- Must have excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong negotiating, communication and organizational skills as well as interpersonal skills – must be a team player.
- Ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Ability to communicate with multiple levels of management.
- Working knowledge of business concepts related to direct sales.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
