Job Description
As the Territory Services Manager, you will lead the development of business strategy and plans through a team of technical field support, project resources, field engineers and professionals, and other resources. Your work will involve responsibility for small project field delivery, emergency call out, and maintenance agreements. You will report to the North America Lifecycle Field Services Manager and work from any one of the following locations: New Jersey or New York. Your work will be primarily remote, with travel to customers within the region.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will oversee the successful daily operations of the Services Engineering department for each customer location.
- You will manage a team accountable for all aspects of automation engineering activities to maintain performance as required by schedule and project timelines.
- Generate, review and control departmental documentation (e.g., SOPs and system reports). Participate in document revisions, providing input.
- Provide leadership and expertise for the automation engineering activities during the tech transfer of new products in the customer's facility.
- Analyze system data to support investigations and lead delivery excellence.
- Establish cross-site relationship with other Rockwell Automation Territory Manager's to maintain best practices.
- Execute continuous improvement for site projects to implement new equipment, technology, processes, or materials as required by our needs aligned to the site objectives.
- As part of the role, you will represent Rockwell Automation at regulatory inspections (internal, external), respond to questions, coordinate responses and corrective actions.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- The ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
- Executive communication skills because you will have direct interaction with Sr. Management and stake holders.
- Extensive technical knowledge as you will be the expert in the team's execution and solutions.
- Knowledgeable on Rockwell Automation business systems
