Job Description

• Providing HR Best practices and continuous improvement; mentor providing guidance under corporate strategy and initiatives and regionally driven processes. • Establishing and maintaining an intimate understanding of the regional business strategy and objectives • Developing strong working relationships with internal stakeholders • Coaching and educating regional managers regarding HR programs such as organizational design, performance management, change management, employee engagement, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development • Develops business leader capability by providing ongoing coaching on key organizational and management issues, and feedback on personal and team performance • Attends and actively participates in client groups’ leadership and management team meetings and discussions • Working closely with HRBP colleagues to establish consistent and standardized program delivery strategies • Collaborating with the HR Service Center and Communities of Expertise to develop and implement HR programs and solutions • Sharing situational experience and best practices to support growth and development • Analyzing trends and metrics produced by the HRIS team to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that improve program effectiveness • Collaborating to develop strategies to address emerging issues and trends • Communicating and educating Managers and staff regarding organizational policies and procedures • Maintaining currency and supporting regional understanding of jurisdictional employment legislation • Developing integrated approaches and education to support diversity and inclusion initiatives • Assists regional management to reduce legal risk and enable fair and consistent treatment of employees.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or any other related field preferred
  • A professional Human Resources designation would be considered an asset
  • 5 plus years of years of experience working with multiple human resource disciplines
  • Knowledge of Human Resources functions, processes, and best practices
  • Knowledge of Employment related legislation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office support systems
  • Familiarity with functioning of HR Information Systems.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, credibility, and confidentiality
  • Collaborative approach with colleagues, employees, external contacts
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent demands
  • Analytical ability and sound judgement, including the ability to apply established guidelines and criteria in diverse situations
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
