• Performs monthly analysis and reporting of budget to actual revenue/cost/profit comparisons and identifies variance drivers. • Reviews expenses, GL accounts and invoices to ensure they are allowable and billable • Ensures program costs are accurately collected by maintaining active charge numbers, monitoring actual charges, and processing transfers when appropriate. • Conducts special studies to analyze financial actions and prepares recommendations for policies and procedures. • Interprets and applies policies, government legislation and accounting theories. • Ensures compliance with internal procedures and regulatory agencies. • Performs duties in support of Month End close Process, to include reconciliation of projects/accounts, review and analysis of monthly financial data, revenue entries and direct cost accruals. • Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as FAR, other government regulations, GAAP, and CAS requirements.
