The Role
The Principal Technical Architect – Embedded Analytics is a senior technical leader and architect responsible for guiding the architecture, scalability, and adoption of ThoughtSpot Embedded across global customer engagements.
ThoughtSpot Embedded enables organizations to bring AI-driven analytics directly into their applications and digital products. In this role, you will partner closely with customer product managers, software developers, and engineering teams to design scalable embedded analytics experiences and guide the adoption of ThoughtSpot across modern SaaS platforms and applications.
This role operates as part of a global specialist overlay team supporting embedded analytics opportunities in North America (NA), EMEA, ANZ, and Japan (JPN) across both Enterprise and Commercial segments, providing strategic technical leadership for complex deployments.
The role supports the full customer lifecycle—from acquisition to growth and expansion—by leading embedded analytics evaluations and helping customers deploy and scale ThoughtSpot Embedded within their applications.
Principal Technical Architects also serve as global subject matter experts for embedded analytics, helping scale best practices across the organization and influencing product direction through close collaboration with Product Management and Engineering.

Role Scope
This is a global specialist overlay role focused on ThoughtSpot Embedded (TSE). Principal Technical Architects support the direct sales organization by providing deep technical expertise for strategic embedded analytics opportunities, partnering closely with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers across regions and segments.
Beyond customer engagements, Principal Technical Architects also help scale the embedded analytics business by developing technical assets, reference architectures, and enablement resources that improve efficiency and accelerate the sales motion across the global go-to-market organization.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with Account Executives (AEs) and Solutions Engineers (SEs) to support strategic ThoughtSpot Embedded (TSE) opportunities globally, providing architectural leadership for Proof of Value (PoV) initiatives.
Define scalable embedded analytics architectures and integration patterns for customers embedding ThoughtSpot within their SaaS applications and digital products.
Provide architectural guidance as customers scale ThoughtSpot Embedded deployments and resolve complex technical challenges when they arise.
Work closely with product managers and software engineers to integrate ThoughtSpot Embedded using APIs, SDKs, and modern application frameworks.
Serve as the voice of embedded analytics customers to ThoughtSpot Product Management and Engineering.
Lead strategic initiatives to develop technical assets, tools, and reference architectures that accelerate the ThoughtSpot Embedded sales motion and improve scalability across the global go-to-market organization.

What You Bring:
10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, application architecture, or data platform architecture
Experience working with SaaS product teams integrating analytics into applications
Experience supporting complex enterprise deployments and global customer environments
APIs and developer platforms
Authentication frameworks (OAuth, SAML, SSO)
Data governance and security architectures
Multi-tenant SaaS application environments
Cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift)
SQL and analytical data modeling
Nice to Have:
Experience with embedded analytics platforms
