Position Overview
We're seeking a People Business Partner to partner with Engineering Managers and Directors to hire the best, support adoption of AI, and continuously improve the employee experience as we continue building for the long term.

What You’ll Do
- Build Great Teams: Advise on best practices for hiring and coaching to enable excellence as we continue to build balanced teams
- Insist on the Highest Standards: Set and uphold high standards and address the root causes of challenges impacting Technology Teams
- Own the Outcome: Define your success in terms of the outcomes achieved by our Technology Teams – focus on driving toward effective practices and engagement to enable organizational success
- Think Big: Partner with experts from the Centers of Excellence within the People Team to define and achieve measurable improvements
- Invent and Simplify: Proactively identify and remove barriers in standard processes to enable high velocity and adaptability across the Technology Team
- Build for Scale: Design reusable resources and tools to increase leverage and impact year-over-year
- Create Momentum: Empower leaders and teams to act and learn rapidly by delivering impactful resources, insights, and tools to support performance
We’re Excited to Learn More About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has the ability to work from an Applied Systems office or 100% remotely
- 5+ years of experience improving talent practices and business outcomes
- Experience partnering with Technology Leadership, ideally in software as a service with a complex product ecosystem, global teams, and matrix structures
- Working knowledge of essential tools and experience with thoughtful use of AI

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $90,000 - $120,000. To determine a new team member’s starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone’s depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.
