Role Description
The Business Analyst will help drive the success of the business by providing business analyses and analytical solutions to guide management and operational decision-making. This position should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will work collaboratively with associates across different levels, functions, business units, and regions to support all brands.
This is a remote position but needs to reside in the Central Florida area.
How You'll Shine:
- Take owner, customer, and transactional data to develop recommendations that assist business decisions pertaining to owner/customer behavior and business performance.
- Define which data will be needed to understand product and business performance, and recommend courses of action based on the data gathered.
- Work closely with the Business Intelligence Team to create meaningful and insightful reporting that tracks and measures performance across various business units.
- Responsible for collection, cleaning, and processing of data to identify patterns and trends to improve decision-making processes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and external teams on projects and new business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data to provide strategic and actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to combine technical expertise with business acumen and communication skills to design, develop, and implement solutions to complex business problems.
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task and meet goals and timelines.
- Proficient in coding specific programming languages and systems such as SQL, Snowflake, or Python.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Sufficient in one of the advanced visualization tools such as Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.
- 3 years’ experience in an analytical role, preferably supporting finance, sales, marketing, or similar areas.
- Education or work experience utilizing quantitative data analysis, statistics, and data mining to solve problems.
- Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
