Role Description
As an IDEXX Cardiologist, you will use your expertise to provide critical diagnostic and treatment information to our customers, enabling veterinarians and pet owners to make the most informed decisions for the care of their animals. IDEXX cardiologists can work from anywhere, leveraging our technology platform to read cases and submit reports from any location.
- Global Collaboration: We are a large, collaborative team of cardiologists spanning three continents. We encourage discussion and connection with members of the team.
- Innovative Technology: We use an innovative platform that allows users the flexibility and technology to read cases and dictate reports in a format that works best for them. We have an entire R&D team dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Continuing Education: Our team regularly holds rounds and journal club. We also encourage participation in conferences, and as an employee, IDEXX will reimburse your eligible expenses.
- Advance Your Learning: We are dedicated to supporting the veterinary specialty community and you. You will be supported in any desire you have to participate in research, give lectures, and pursue your specialty.
- Readily Available Support: Our 24-hour specialist and IT support teams are available should you need them. Specialist Support and our Telemedicine Support Veterinarians communicate with referring clinics on technical problems or case inconsistencies.
- Mentorship: From day one, you will be assigned an experienced and knowledgeable mentor who will help guide and support you throughout your introduction to our team.
- Optimized Schedule: We work with you to determine your schedule. Whether you’d like to be a consultant, full-time, or part-time employee, you will collaborate with our dedicated workforce manager to design an optimized schedule.
Qualifications
- Board-certified cardiologist (DipDACVIM or DipDECVIM-CA (Cardiology)) with a passion for helping people and pets.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical, can prioritize, and excel at problem-solving.
