Job Summary
We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to support growth across our North American accounts. You will manage a number of our existing customer relationships but more importantly expand the customer base through proactive phone outreach and virtual meetings.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong prospecting mindset, solid customer research and profiling skills, moves fast, thinks commercially, and a passion for building relationships that drive long-term value. You’ll work closely with our Business Development teams to identify opportunities, nurture leads, and ensure customers receive a proactive, insightful, and professional experience. Experience with Omega-3, nutritional ingredients, or supplements is a strong advantage.
This role can be based anywhere in the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of smaller-scale but high-value customer accounts
- Prospect, research, and profile new accounts to understand needs, buying behavior, and growth potential
- Conduct prospecting and outreach to identify new opportunities within assigned segments
- Run outbound outreach and qualify leads into the sales pipeline
- Lead virtual demos and product conversations that clearly communicate value
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and close deals - efficiently and confidently
- Build trusted relationships that drive retention, expansion, and long-term value
- Handle a high volume of calls while keeping Salesforce clean and up to date
- Track opportunities, prepare account summaries, and support forecasting with data
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support account plans and growth initiatives
- CRM management - Call Management & Sales Documentation: Ability to handle a high volume of calls, maintain and update accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and internal team
- Contribute ideas to improve sales processes, tools, and prospecting efficiency
About You - Experience & Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in inside sales, sales development, or business development (B2B preferred)
- Experience in functional ingredients, specifically the omega-3 / nutritional supplements space
- Strong prospecting, lead qualification, and account research skills
- Proven ability to close deals by understanding customer needs and addressing objections
- Clear, confident communicator with strong listening skills
- Quick problem-solver who stays calm and effective in live customer conversations
- Comfortable working with data, metrics, and CRM tools (Salesforce experience a plus)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple accounts
- Self-starter mindset: curious, proactive, collaborative, and accountable
- Grit and adaptability to thrive in a fast-growing, evolving environment
Nice to Have
- Experience working with small-to-mid-size customer accounts
- Prior exposure to data-driven or research-heavy sales environments
- Experience supporting remote or distributes teams
